  Returned from deployment, and called Lumbee River to establish service for a new appartment. They told me I had a previous balance of $23.00 from my last account. I was told I need to make a $300.00 deposit because of a prior balance I was not aware of. 23 dollars... so instead of just letting me pay the vast sum of 23 dollars, that I maliciously withheld from them, I know have to pay a outrageous deposit. In all of the electric companies I have had to deal with, this company is by far the worst. I have perfect credit, I never neglect my bills, and yet I'm getting shafted for a $23 bill I was not aware of. Learn from my mistake, and be on guard with this company.
